5.) Halloween is Over. Take Off Your Mask!
Halloween has always been one of my favorite holidays, but do we take it too far and wear our masks long after the Trick-or-Treating has ended? The masks that I’m talking about here are the figurative masks that we (myself included) wear on a regular basis in an attempt to portray ourselves as something other than that which we truly are. These figurative masks are dangerous because unlike silly Halloween masks, they are difficult to take off because doing so exposes our true, unfiltered essence and therefore can leave us feeling insecure and vulnerable. However; it is only by having the courage to shed our various masks that we will ever be able to experience a truly FabYOUlous life. It is only by stepping out from behind our masks that we become free to pursue the relationships, experiences and dreams that will allow our true FabYOUlousness to blossom.
Check out this list of five of the most common masks that we tend to hide behind and ways to remove each mask so that we can begin to live more authentically. Finding the courage to remove our masks might not be easy, but it is an absolute requirement for anyone longing to experience the true freedom of a FabYOUlous life.

8.) Unleash Your Inner Rock Star
Recently, while on a trip to Vegas, I was able to attend an incredible musical performance called “Raiding the Rock Vault” and OH MY GOSH!! IT ROCKED! Seriously–it is no wonder that this show is continually ranked as one of the top shows in Vegas! When the show was over I was deaf from the sound level (after all, if it’s too loud–you’re too old right??) and hoarse from screaming and singing along at the top of my lungs. The best part of the night however, came before and after the show when I was able to meet the amazing musicians and get my picture taken with the uber hot guitarist, Doug Aldrich (for you fellow metal heads, he’s the former lead guitarist for Whitesnake and Dio.) He and the other musicians (all from big name rock bands) were so accommodating to those of us who were able to meet them and even when the show was over and they were no longer on the stage and under the lights, they all still seemed larger than life to me.
This got me thinking about the qualities that these rockers possessed that made them so, well….FabYOUlous; and as I thought about those qualities, it occurred to me that (outside of their crazy musical skills) many of these qualities are ones that we can all learn to “rock” in our own lives, thereby unleashing our own inner rock-star. Here is a quick rundown of seven rockin’ ways to turn up the volume in your life and rock what you’ve got…
9.) 10 Attributes of a Fab-YOU-lously Wealthy Life (that DON’T Require Money)
When thinking about wealth, most of us have come to equate wealth with money and yet, when it comes down to the things that (in my opinion) truly contribute to a FabYOUlous life–very few of those things have much (if anything) to do with the state of one’s financial affairs. Instead, I believe that a better definition for wealth would be the ability to enjoy what we have. Once we understand that principle, it becomes much easier and more enjoyable to acquire wealth.
After examining my own life and combining my observations with other research on the subject, I’ve come up with a list of 10 attributes that I believe lead to a FabYOUlously wealthy life–regardless of how much money is in the bank…
